WIP Snippet: Frosty

I was surprised to find two possible snippets for #FridayKiss and neither are in reference to frozen water vapor. This one is more in line with the romantic vibe of the prompt challenge whereas the other is, well, the exact opposite.

Alt Text: Soft white snowflakes against a light blue gradient acts as a background for a Friday Kiss tile. Text reads: Fighting through his frosty touch and her magic’s resistance, Emma wrapped her arms around him. A few of Liam's tears fell into the crook of her neck. She pulled him closer, as though doing so could mold their bodies together, enabling her to share his pain. When his body and his grip relaxed she did the same and used her thumbs to wipe the tears from his cheeks. "Mabel is looking through her library for something that will help. I hate that it's taking so long."Liam took a breath and released it slowly. "I know. I trust you."

 About #FridayKiss

Each week author Gwynne Jackson posts a word prompt and encourages authors to share snippets from their works in progress (WIPs) that use the prompt or some variation of it. I love seeing how other writers utilize language and how words fit into their unique voice.
