WIP Snippet: Inside

The minute I saw the word prompt for #FridayKiss I knew my social media feeds were going to be steamy. My options for #FridayKiss were either completely innocuous or very explicit. I had one compromise that I shared on my social media channels.

But as I dust off my website blog and dabble in Substack (Update 12/26/2023: I won’t be dabbling in Substack), I decided to share one of the least-explicit-but-still-spicy options on platforms where I had a little more control.

A lavender and pink abstract background makes up a Friday Kiss snippet tile. Text reads: Emma felt a smile against the delicate skin. In between breaths, Liam slid his tongue over her. She responded with a high-pitched gasp, the relief of his touch filling her with gratitude before turning into a desperate need for more. Liam read her body like a book, giving her everything she wanted without having to ask. The pleasure flowing through her swirled with the hum of her magic becoming more than just erotic bliss. She wanted to live with Liam forever in this blanket of euphoria.
The fire inside her grew. Her moans became louder.
“Shhhh,” Liam hushed.

About #FridayKiss

Each week author Gwynne Jackson posts a word prompt and encourages authors to share snippets from their works in progress (WIPs) that use the prompt or some variation of it. I love seeing how other writers utilize language and how words fit into their unique voice.
